Carrying values with integrity into the workplace to enhance sustainability

Overview

A day's training course for students and/or staff from all programmes of study to explore sustainability values and ethics, and bringing this into future careers regardless of specialism. The training explores the concept of values with a focus on sustainability and ethics as a means of identifying how to make a positive impact in the workplace and through future career paths.


Learning outcomes

As a result of completing this training, participants will be able to:

  • Communicate their sustainability values with confidence.
  • Gain an understanding of organisational change theory and how they can influence this.
  • Develop a toolkit for being a sustainability professional within any career choice. 


Who should attend?

This training is appropriate for all students.  Academic supervisors / employability, sustainability and student experience staff may also find the training useful.


What SOS-UK programmes does the training support?

This training supports the delivery of SOS-UK's For Good and Responsible Futures but participation in these programmes isn't essential.


What are the options for delivery?

This training is available as bespoke delivery for individual or collaborations of institutions / students' unions

This training can be delivered online or in person and lasts for 3.5 hours.
