About

The SDG Teach In is an annual campaign to put the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), and therefore sustainability, at the heart of all stages of education, and across all disciplines. This annual campaign calls upon educators to include the SDGs within their teaching, learning and assessment during the campaign (and beyond!).

The SDG Teach In 2025 lasted from 1 March to 6 April 2025. The Teach In will return in 2026.

Who can take part in the Teach In? Each year, the Teach In is open to all types of formal and informal training providers, educators and workplace learning providers. We believe in lifelong learning and that anyone in any context can be a student of the SDG Teach In. Sustainability is a diverse and ever-changing field, so help make a difference by pledging to the Teach In!

How was the campaign structured this year? Each week in March 2025 focused on a key theme, starting with environmental sustainability, then social, and economic pillars of sustainability, and care, collaboration, and creativity in the final week. These themes were a guide and educators are welcome to blur the boundaries between the pillars throughout the campaign. You may also supplement the SDGs by bringing in other overlooked areas of sustainability into your teaching/learning.
